The single most important fact we have learned about installing our Steel film is this:  the use of heat eliminates most installation problems!

Heat causes the film to become more plyable!  This helps around corners and edges.

Heat causes the adhesive to become more effective!  As it cools, it strengthens.

A heat gun can be purchased for between $20 and $30 from your local Home Depot, Lowes, or hardware store.  We recommend purchasing a heat gun with 2 tempurature settings (Hi and Lo).  Please read the user instructions which come with the heat gun.  Our film can be damaged if the gun is used incorrectly.
